Doc M.O. Hulsey, deceased Nov. 2 2001
Doc M.O. Hulsey, our oldest member and only living charter member, died on Friday morning, November 2, 2001 at 1:20 a.m. Doc last attended a Gand Chapter meeting in December of 1993 at Nashville and last attended an Epsilon Chapter meeting in August of 1999. He often made contributions to the Scholarship Fund. As you can see, he was one of our most faithful and committed members as well as the oldest.
There was not a funeral, Doc had requested that he be cremated and part of his ashes buried near his wife and the other half scattered near his birthplace. The family received guests during a time coffee and conversation on Sunday, November 11, 2001 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Ann Hulsey Cobb has requested that in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made out to the Iota Lambda Sigma Scholarship Fund and mailed to Randall Peacock, Treasurer, Iota Lambda Sigma - Epsilon, 103 Julie Ann Court, Eufaula, Alabama 36026.
